Across all Arcadia from the Outskirts of Pandemonium to the Very Edge of Reason glasses of London Porter and bottles of Victory Gin are raised to all those who stalled out and punted at yesterday's National Vintage Fishing Tackle Fair in the spiritual capital of fishing tackle manufacturing Redditch. The day was a joyous riot as it always is. Special mention goes to all but in particular to the gentlemen who drove overnight from Germany and queued graciously.
You now have all summer to dream of the moment that Samuel Guyatt opens the tea van hatch in the mist of a dark autumn morning and the NEXT National Vintage Fishing Tackle Fair happens on Sunday 13th November 2016.
