Spitalfields

The first day of the spring quarter at Spitalfields yesterday and a gloriously social one it turned out to be.  Amongst a deluge of finds in the morning this spellbinding watercolour dating to the year 1888 entitled Old Weir Bridge, a triumph of perspective and anticipation.
