Zanderlanded

Upon returning from the district beyond the Fringes of Effluvium Magna  I found a telegram from the artist known as John Richardson, native of the town of Middlesbrough, who had just landed his first ever Zander from underneath a boat on the course of the Old Nene River in something approaching daylight.  Across Arcadia bobble hats were tossed in the air and glasses of Elgood's Double Swan were drained in his honour.
