Once upon a time in Arcadia in a land where the closed season did not exist, ladies and gentlemen in search of fishing tackle and requisites could telephone their order through to Angler's Rest on Phone 4 in Waterville, County Kerry. Angler's Rest were renowned for their fishing tackle which they sold alongside other essentials such as Waterford Glass, Irish Souvenirs and General Drapery including Handknits, Linen and Handwoven Tweeds. They advertised their wonders in the form of a printed paper bag.
Should you be a lady or a gentleman in search of similar wonders including fishing tackle and occasional Irish Souvenirs, you are invited to my stall at Spitalfields Antiques Market on Commercial Street, London E.1 on Thursdays only between the hours of 8am and 3pm where you will also find a supply of letterpress printed paper bags. Thank-you.
