Bought last week at the stall from a passing gentleman and in the early morning at Kempton yesterday a Homer 'Perfection Flick-Em' and a 5ins. Carter Optional Check Reel in Ebonite.  Both for immediate sale from the barrow in the sky known as my website.

Found amongst a lot of rod sections and scrap greenheart bought this week a primitive rod spear fashioned from brass.

We Always Drink Like This

Untouched By Hand

On the cloth tomorrow a significant quantity of boxes and their contents bought yesterday at an auction  and which have remained 'Untouched By Hand' for many decades.   The boxes will be opened to reveal their contents at irregular intervals during the market hours of 8am and 3pm.  Other lots purchased will also be sold over cups of tea.  Thank-you.

A State of Grace

A late return from Branchage Festival on the island of Jersey and from a place off the map known subsequently as The Garden of Eden where a boat filled with bass; good times were spent in the company of friends and collaborators; a literary salon was built with ale and talk and the publication of the poet Will Burns' debut volume for Faber - 'Will Burns - Faber New Poets 10' was celebrated over several days and nights.  My review of it written for Caught by the River can be read here.
