C.B. Vaughan of the Strand

Once upon a time in Arcadia and particularly on a Thursday, ladies and gentlemen in search of Vintage Fishing Tackle for the Soul could call in at C.B. Vaughan of the Strand in the district of London known as WC2.  Vaughan's were well established having traded since the year 1782 and in addition to claiming to stock the finest selection of second hand guns and rifles in the world also bought fishing tackle which they would exchange for further ordnance.  At my stall in Spitalfields, which is open on a Thursday from a half past seven in the morning until approximately three o'clock in the afternoon,  as well as selling Vintage Fishing Tackle for the Soul I also buy it although I insist on then trading it further for cash.  Guns are not acceptable although having said that good pairs of Zeiss Binoculars are on occasion.
