Spitalfields

Found at Spitalfields yesterday on the floor by one stall an ashtray from the counter of Johnson & Clark in Staines-upon-Thames advertising Sylcast.  'The Aristocrat of Fishing Lines' was manufactured during the late mid-century in the suburb known as South-East London by the Modern Arms Company a.k.a Marco.  The ashtray is stamped R2S Made in Italy, Tel. 598279 - Milano.  During a quiet moment at the market yesterday I called this number from the field telephone but there was no answer.
