Something for the Weekend

Found at the Farnham Angling Society Annual Car Boot Sale last weekend inside a canvas Efgeeco Seat Box a pristine permit from 1958 for the Twickenham Piscatorials carrying adverts for the Farnham Angling Society and the barbers and tackle shop 'Kings' an establishment run by the fiercely upright Albert Oswald King, one of the men responsible for running the club during the last Century.  His short back and sides always came with a clipped ear if you moved as much as a muscle whilst it was in progress.  There also used to be a fine cased pike on the wall above the chairs and the consolation of a packet of size 16 hooks on the way out.
