The Weirpool, the Pike and the P.O.W's

Found in the 'The Book of the Fly-Rod', a George Sheringham illustration of a weirpool and a pike.  Also lodged in the flyleaf of the book with an arrow pointing at Sheringham's name on the title page was the owner's E. Lawton-Moss' bookplate upon which was written 'The master of John Elphinstone - P.O.W. with me at Laufen'.
